Start Tanto

Step 1

Unpack your Tanto and place the rubber feet on the bottom.

Step 2

Plug one end of the Ethernet cable into your Tanto, and the other into your router / modem.

Ensure your router / modem is connected to the internet.

Step 3

Connect the power supply.

Once power is applied, do not disconnect it!

Step 4

Check the red light is illuminated on the left side of your Tanto, then skip to Step 6

If a blue light is illuminated, continue with instructions (Step 5)

Step 5

Blue light is illuminated

The blue light indicates your Tanto is receiving power but the computer board is not powered on. Continue to Step 5.1

Step 5.1

Push the START UP button (left hole) for 3 seconds. The light should change from blue to red.

The Allan key in your Tanto box is the perfect size to fit in the START UP hole.

Step 6

Wait for the whole light strip to illuminate red across the front of your Tanto.

Note: this can take up to 10 minutes.

Step 7

Open a web browser then navigate to ronindojo.local

IP Scanner

Alternatively, download Angry IP Scanner and obtain the IP address of your Tanto, then enter this into the URL bar.

Step 8

Continue to follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup and initialization of your Tanto.

Once setup is complete your Tanto will begin to download and index the entire bitcoin blockchain. Following this your Tanto is ready to use! For more instructions and guides, navigate to wiki.ronindojo.io
